My Chemical Romance is going to cover Bob Dylan's "Desolation Row" as a close for the film adaptation of "Watchmen".
The director, Zack Snyder, said "(Gerard Way, MCR frontman) is a super-great guy, and an awesome musician, and so we're trying to work with them right now to put together a song for the end titles," also adding "I've talked with [Way] and I've heard a little bit of some stuff that's he's done and it's pretty freaking cool."
Snyder says that Gerard approached him: "Just as a fan, to say like: 'I hope the movie's cool.' And then we went, 'Hey, maybe we can do something.'."

Matches' bassist, Justin San Souci, leaving band
From their Myspace blog:
It disarranges us to relay that our long-time bassist and friend, Justin San Souci, will be parting from the role of bassist in the Matches to pursue other lives and loves. He, however, will not be parting from the role of friend. Change is not an easy thing, but it does not stop until life does. Our hearts go out to Justin for being brave and true to his heart's pursuit.

Lily Allen might stop singing?
British singer Lily Allen has announced that if her second album "Stuck on the Naughty Step" is a flop, then she plans to give up singing.
She says that "I left school at 15. I'm not a genius songwriter. I don't think I'm really good at anything. I'm really scared about what people are going to say. I don't know why. Some people will like it and some won't. If people hate it, then I'll just try something else."
Giving up singing doesn't necessarily mean leaving the music industry for good, however. She has said "I'd really like to do A+R at a record company."
